About Me
Deborah Hartloff is a published, self-taught artist who specializes in Still Life, Wildlife and Western Art.  You’ll find her work in collections across Canada and Europe.

In 1998 she and her husband moved from the Lower Mainland of British Columbia to Westbank, a community just outside Kelowna, British Columbia.

In 1999, Deborah put her passion for art and love of children together and opened Love of Wildlife Studio and Art School.  Although she began with just three students in 1999, by 2001 she had more than 70 registered students.  In addition to teaching art classes in her studio, Deborah visits and teaches art at elementary schools.

Mission Statement

We offer art classes that are fun, enjoyable and a positive experience for everyone.  In doing so, we treat all children with respect and provide them with the encouragement, inspiration and praise that contribute to self-esteem and confidence.
