After School, Early Evening and Home School - Art classes - ages 5 - teens
(October _ June) max per class is 9 |
| This is a one and a half hour class held once a week. Classes are for both beginners and advanced students of varied ages and skills. The class is small to allow individual guidance and encouragement. Students may join for the year (Oct. - June) or monthly. |
Beginners start with learning how to draw eyes. They learn the basics of pastels, blending and color. Students learn techniques that help them draw animals, as well as still life. A short lesson is given at the beginning of each class. Students then work on what ever picture they have choosen. Students continue to advance using graphs and gain confidence to draw free hand. Students are at different levels and ages in all classes.

Art camps Spring Break & Summer - ages 7 - teens (March and July and August)
During these camps approximately 2 - 4 hours of the day are spent working on drawing. Snacks of fruit, cookies or muffins and juice are provided in the morning and afternoon, as well as, a snack in the afternoon.
We walk to the beach to enjoy the outdoors for approximately 1-2 hours each afternoon. If the weather does not permit the class will play games, watch a movie or go swimming at the JB Pool. We will also be doing some painting projects, crafts and soap stone carving late morning or afternoons.
The maximum number of students per camp is 10.

Pick up from George Pringle Elementary - $10.00 per month pick up fee.
If your child attends school at George Pringle Elementary and you would like him or her picked up for art class, please let me know when registering. The students will be picked up and walked. It is approximately a 15 minute walk. Students are given a snack and hot chocolate or juice.

The fee for the Fall/Winter Program is $78.00 per month. (4 classes of 1 1/2 hours each)
This includes all art materials.
Payment may be made with postdated Cheques, Visa, MasterCard or Interac. |
